Diamond Clarity

Diamond clarity refers to the microscopic, natural imperfections in the stone. These small blemishes are called "inclusions". The amount of inclusions affects the amount of light that the diamond can reflect, or the "clarity" of the stone. The more blemishes included, the cloudier the stone; the less imperfections included, the more colorful and reflective or "flawless" the diamond will be.  The chart below will help you determine the best stone quality for you.

The clarity of the diamond also determines its value. Flawless diamonds are more rare and therefore more expensive.  If you are looking for a Flawless diamond for your piercing jewelry, we can make it for you at an additional cost upon request.
